Majid Mozaffari has been appointed as tourism goodwill ambassador by Iran Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization in a move to support the country’s tourism sector.
Following the appointment of Sareh Bayat, Iran renowned actress, as GWA for cultural heritage in 2018, the Organization has recently introduced Majid Mozaffari as its 2019 GWA for tourism.
The appointment was officially made on the sideline of the 12th International Tourism Exhibition held in Iran on February 13, 2019.
“Every nation is built up by its people. Iranians should be very active in promoting the tourism of their country and introducing it to the people of other countries and create the ground for attracting tourists from foreign countries,” Mozaffari said during a press conference held at the exhibition.
He added, “The use of artists will also be very useful for promoting tourism in Iran. Artists will support these initiatives.”
Mozaffari is to appear in a travel documentary to introduce Iran tourism to the world.
He is currently on ifilm with ‘Neighbors’ while many of his fans might remember him from ‘The Green Journey’, ‘The Days of Life’, ‘A Beautiful Revolution’, ‘Tabriz in Fog’ and ‘The Billionaire’.
